SmartHire wasn't born out of frustration but out of a simple observation: job boards are drying up, the labour market is tight, and the best people aren't looking for work at all — they have it. The only place to reach them is where they spend their evenings. And until recently, only companies with a marketing department and an enterprise budget could do that.
That's what we wanted to change.
Our story
Smart social media recruitment has always worked — it was just hidden behind agencies, advertising specialists and tools no smaller company could master. An HR generalist who ended up doing recruitment more by accident than by choice never stood a chance: set up a company page, get ads running, watch the budget, and still do their actual job.
SmartHire tucked that whole machinery inside. You say who you're looking for, and the rest guides you step by step — from the job ad to candidates on one clear dashboard. No agency, no enterprise budget — just you.

AI speeds up our admin — but it never screens or scores candidates. Letting an algorithm sort people by their CV has become the norm. We refuse it. A human decides who gets invited.
Smart recruitment is not a privilege of big corporations
Accessibility — in price and in skill required — is a design decision for us, not a slogan. We're not building a tool for a corporation with an HR department, but for the company that doesn't have one.
We respect everyone's time
Candidates apply in a minute, no CV or cover letter. Companies don't drown in admin. And everyone who applies gets an answer — no ghosting.
Where we're heading
Recruitment is the beginning. Step by step, we're turning SmartHire into an accessible place where a smaller or mid-sized company can handle more than just finding people — but gradually, so it stays simple. First, recruitment has to work flawlessly. The rest will come at the right time.
